That's a verb, right? I'm an author, and I practice the art of authoring. Sure. Let's go with it.
I want to talk about how weird it is sometimes, being an author...authoring, if you will.
My latest book, Beach Boys, comes out in two days. If you haven't preordered it yet, please, for the love of all that is gay and holy, go do so now. It means so much to see that little preorder number tick up. Plus, if you're gonna buy it anyway, and OF COURSE you are, by preordering you're helping my rank on release day even more than if you waited to buy it Tuesday. (Yes, all those links go to my book page. Sorry not sorry.)
Anyway, the point of this post wasn't to pimp Beach Boys, the Gay-For-You beach read of the summer, available Tuesday July 23rd.
The point of this post was to discuss how weird my life is. So I wrote Beach Boys, it was edited, formatted and is about to be unleashed onto the world. And I love that book. Alex and Noah stole my heart in a way that hasn't happened in a while.
Until today. When I woke up from a fitful sleep with a new book idea, for two new boys, who are going to rival every other boy I've ever written.
This is my life. I finish writing a book, I go through the book hangover (yes, we authors have them just as much as you readers do), then a new set of boys burrow their way in and I'm off again.
So this week I'll be working on The Billionaire's Christmas Cruise, which is available on July 29th, (also up for preorder), I'll be promoting Beach Boys, go buy it please, and I'll be making notes on the new book, which doesn't even have a title yet it's so fresh.
What is on your calendar for the week? Are you an author with a new release? Let us know in the comments. Are you a reader eagerly awaiting a new release from your favorite author, me or anyone else, show some love and share a link.
