Three is NOT a crowd
Menage romance is one of those things you either do really well, or you shouldn't do at all.
When you're crafting a story, the reader (that would be you) has to believe the chemistry between the characters. For some authors that's really difficult to do with just two, but convincing someone that three people all love each other and are working toward the same goal can get pretty tough.
Fortunately, I am the bomb at menage. I don't have a lot of them, but I actually really enjoy writing the love story that unfolds between two men and a woman. The tension, her hesitancy, them working together to convince her it will all work out...that's my jam right there.
Maybe because it's a nice bridge between the worlds of M/F and M/M romance. I get all the dicks, but there's a vagina, too, so everyone wins? I don't know. Maybe I'm just a weirdo.
My favorite menage book that I've ever written is Reagan. It hits every note that makes a story fun for me to write. There's vampires, shifters, action, violence, smexy sex, a badass heroine and two men that can and do totally handle her. It's just perfect...I mean, if I do say so myself.
Reagan is up for preorder now, if you like bounty hunters, sassy heroines and insanely hot military dudes, I'd love for you to check it out.
I think Amazon is hiding it from search because the cover is too sexy. Losers.
Do you have a favorite menage romance? I'd love to hear about it. Drop me a comment below and let me know.
